Hey there,

So today I'll be talking a bit about Plato's Cave, Platonic Solids, and Sacred Geometry.

I came across the allegory of Plato's Cave in a TV show. It's an allegory by Plato about people chained to a cave wall, watching shadows cast by objects behind them. These shadows are their reality but aren't the real source; they represent our perception of reality through senses, while (according to Plato) true forms can only be understood through reason.

The Allegory of the Cave, or Plato's Cave, is an allegory presented by the Greek philosopher Plato in his work Republic (514a–520a) to compare "the effect of education (παιδεία) and the lack of it on our nature".
